The third title in the Tekken series is a fighting game called Tekken 3. It was made available for the PlayStation in 1998 and in arcades in March 1997. As a component of Tekken 5’s Arcade History mode, the original arcade version of the game was made available for the PlayStation 2 in 2005.

Due to the fact that jumping no longer served as a universal dodge move that was flying above all of the ground moves, air fighting became more manageable and made better use of sidestep dodges. In addition, the improved engine allowed for quicker knockdown recoveries, more escapes from tackles and stunned opponents, better juggling (as many old moves had changed parameters, allowing them to connect in combo-situations, where they wouldn’t have connected in previous games), and more newly created combo throws.
