The arcade game Puzzle Bobble, which Taito launched in 1994, is cloned in Bubble Shooter.
Ilyon Dynamics now owns the Bubble Shooter game and intellectual property after purchasing them from Absolutist, the publisher of 2002 original. In 2010,[1] the game was ported to iOS, and in 2012, it was ported to Android.[2]
The Bubble Shooter IP was sold by Absolutist to Ilyon Dynamics LTD in 2015[3], who then developed the brand across additional platforms like Facebook Messenger and the mobile eSports platform Skillz.[4] With the Seminole Tribe of Florida, a unique version was created and released under the Hard Rock Cafe name.[5]
Gameplay
By creating groupings of three or more marbles of the same color or a different color, you can clear the playing area and win the game. When the balls touch the bottom line of the screen, the game is over. More points are awarded when more balls are smashed in a single shot. When there are no more balls on the pitch, a player has won.
There are four gradations of difficulty: EasyRide, Novice, Expert, and Master. The score options are classic and sniper. The Classic Mode recommends leisurely play with neither time nor shot constraints. Sniper Mode’s objective is to clear the playfield with the fewest number of shots possible.
There are two kinds of games:
Plan – Shots allotted
Game – Time restriction
